Throughout the year, the Valdarno area is packed full of events with something to suit all tastes - culture, food, wine, museums,theatre, cinema, music, local festivals and more.

is packed full of useful information on events happening all over Tuscany, and it's in English! You can even book tickets for entrance to any of the main museums and galleries in Florence.
Numerous Tuscan spas and thermal springs are within an hour's drive (Rapolano Terme, Bagno Vignoni, Montecatini terme to name but a few) and there are sports and leisure activities including a water park, riding and tennis within 20 minutes.
The Pratomagno mountains, which surround the house are also excellent for walkers and cyclists. The Italian Alpine Club have produced a map showing all the paths and walks in the area. They can be identified by the red and white painted stripes on trees and rocks along the way.
The local newsagents in S. Giustino will have a copy of "Toscana Tascabile", a Tuscan version of Time out, giving monthly listing of events happening all over Tuscany.
